Welcome to Mozucat ("we", "our", "the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Mozucat handles your information when you use our IPTV streaming application.
Mozucat is a media player application that allows you to connect to your own IPTV service providers. We do not provide, host, or distribute any media content.
2. Information We Collect
Mozucat collects and stores the following information locally on your device. When you activate a free trial, in-app purchase, or Mozucat Pro subscription, additional technical data described in Section 9 may also be processed by our service providers.
- Server Credentials: The server URL, username, and password you provide to connect to your IPTV service. These are stored securely on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Viewing Preferences: Your favorites, playback history, and continue watching progress to enhance your experience.
- App Settings: Language preference, display settings, and other configuration choices you make within the app.
- Cache Data: Temporarily cached content metadata (channel names, movie information, cover images) to improve loading performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Connect to your IPTV service provider on your behalf
- Display your content catalog and channel listings
- Track your viewing progress for resume playback
- Maintain your favorites and personalized lists
- Activate, restore, and manage your Mozucat Pro access
- Verify free-trial eligibility and prevent abuse
- Improve app performance through local caching
4. Data Storage and Security
Most of your IPTV and playback data is stored locally on your device. When you use Mozucat Pro in-app purchases, limited technical records may also be processed remotely by our service providers as described in Section 9.
- IPTV credentials are stored in encrypted local storage
- No raw card or payment data is collected or stored by Mozucat
- Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and subscription status is managed with RevenueCat
- No advertising data or third-party behavioral tracking is used by the app
- Cache data can be cleared at any time from your device settings
Please note that when you connect to your IPTV service, network requests are made directly between your device and your service provider's servers. Mozucat has no control over how your service provider handles your data.
5. Third-Party Services
Mozucat interacts with the following third-party services:
- Your IPTV Service Provider: The server you configure handles your streams and content catalog. Their privacy policy governs how they process your connection data.
- Content Delivery Networks: Cover images and metadata may be loaded from external sources as provided by your IPTV service.
We do not sell your personal information. Limited sharing required for in-app purchases and the services described in this policy is detailed in Section 9.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your data:
- Delete all data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
- Clear cache: Clear cached content data from the app settings.
- Manage favorites: Add or remove favorites at any time.
- Clear history: Remove your viewing history and progress.
- Disconnect: Log out to remove stored credentials.
- Manage your subscription: Activate, restore, or cancel Mozucat Pro from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Mozucat is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The content available through the app depends entirely on the user's IPTV service provider, and parental supervision is recommended.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
9. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions, and Service Providers
To sell, activate, and restore Mozucat Pro, we rely on Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Mozucat does not collect or store your card number, bank details, or other raw payment information.
RevenueCat
- RevenueCat acts as a processor for subscription management, entitlement status, and purchase restoration
- A pseudonymous application identifier (appUserId) may be sent to RevenueCat: Android SSAID on Android, and a UUID stored in the iOS Keychain on iOS
- RevenueCat may also receive limited purchase-related metadata such as the purchased product, subscription status, eligibility for certain offers, and storefront, country, or currency information returned by Apple or Google
- We do not send your IPTV credentials, viewing history, or watched content to RevenueCat
App Store and Google Play
- Apple and Google process payments, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under their own terms and privacy policies
- Pricing information, receipts, and purchase confirmations shown in the checkout flow are provided by the storefront used for your transaction
Android: Trial-Abuse Prevention
- On Android, Mozucat may create or update a Cloud Firestore document mozucat_trials/{deviceId} to verify free-trial eligibility and prevent repeated abuse
- This document may contain a pseudonymous device identifier, trial eligibility or usage status, and technical timestamps
- This document does not include payment data, IPTV credentials, or viewing history
We do not sell your personal data. We only share the data strictly necessary to activate in-app purchases, manage subscriptions, and prevent free-trial abuse.
10. Push Notifications and Communications
Mozucat uses push notification services (Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android, Apple Push Notification Service on iOS) to deliver notifications to your device.
What is collected
- A unique device push token, generated by your operating system, used solely to deliver notifications to your device
- No personal information, viewing history, or IPTV credentials are sent to these services
How notifications are used
- Service-related events (downloads finished, playback events, app updates)
- Important security or account-related alerts
- Optional announcements about new features
Your control
- You can disable all push notifications at any time from your device's system settings
- Disabling notifications does not affect any other functionality of the App
These third-party services handle message delivery according to their own privacy policies. We do not share viewing data or credentials with them.
